Returning after a five year rally retirement, Roy McLennan and Co-driver Robin Nicholson quickly found their pace on round one of the Ecosse Peugeot 205 Challenge, however a brake failure on corner entry saw them roll off the road on Stage 1 of the Border Counties Rally.
